Hello. Who are you? I am me. Do I know you? Of course you do. I am you. Don't you remember? No I am sorry I do not. Well I am the person within the person. I am the one in the shadows. I am the one unseen. That deep and dark place. That place that holds so much power that you keep hidden till that day. That day that you become a force to be reckoned with. That moment when you release that which you have been holding. All that power will explode out of you that day. You will become me and I will become you. Till then I am in the shadows.

A Conversation With Myself

Oh, this is wonderful! Just don't give it to water. Give it to your creativity, give it to air, give it to passion, give it to all those you love.
ReplyDeleteYour creativity is truly a force to be reckoned with.
I love this, though, and I am proud that you have something so great just within the shadows, waiting.
We love the deep inside photograph of the power of a single flower, that's beautiful.
The water shall never have my flame again.
ReplyDeleteYou Cannot Put A Fire Out
You cannot put a Fire out—
A Thing that can ignite
Can go, itself, without a Fan—
Upon the slowest Night—
You cannot fold a Flood—
And put it in a Drawer—
Because the Winds would find it out—
And tell your Cedar Floor—
Emily Dickinson
What a joy it has been and will be to watch your immense desire for change to happen in your life, change that will bring fulfillment and satisfaction of your dreams for you and your family. Your creativity knows no bounds...SHE is there to be released. Go Girl!
ReplyDeleteWhoa, I love this. Go Emily, go!
ReplyDeleteI had not seen this Emily poem before, but it is now one of my favorites. I must add it to "Emily In Full Color" for "Susanna's World Within".
Remember how you used to love to read her when you were about eleven. She does know about the Great Immense Inside. Go, girl, go.
I am not the sum of my possessions, or of my likes/dislikes. I am not even the constant babbling stream of thoughts rushing along behind the silver screen of my eyes. "I" am the moment BEFORE the thoughts are generated. But even then, the essence of "I" can never be captured in the inconsequential word "I", or "ME", or even "MYSELF".
